Led by Jacob Arabo, a visionary entrepreneur, Jacob & Co. revolutionizes the world of haute horology with uniquely spectacular creations. Recognized as the “Master of World Time”, Jacob & Co. broke the barriers of traditional watchmaking at Baselworld2013 with the world premier of the Epic SF24, which is now recognized as one of the brand’s many iconic timepieces.

The Epic SF24, whose “SF” stands for “Split Flap”, is an absolute novelty in the watchmaking industry, marking the first time that a Split Flap has been integrated into a watch. An ingenious system of miniaturized flaps, the digital and vertical GMT mechanism is capable of displaying 24 time zones instantaneously with a single press on the pusher, located at the left side of the GMT indicator.

Inspired by the old mechanical information boards seen in airports and train stations, the wearer of the Epic SF 24 is transported all over the world through time and space.

Powered by Jacob & Co., the Epic SF 24, featuring a JCAA02 caliber, self-winding movement containing 473 components, and a 48-hours power reserve, will offer a Racing variation, to be unveiled at Baselworld this year. The inner bezel, indexes and case rubber inserts will be offered in a range of living red, green, blue racing colors, and also in a full dark version, transforming the watch’s classic masculine elegant to a sensual, sportive and daring look.

Epic SF24 Flying Tourbillon

Jacob & Co. offers a 12th tourbillon to its vast high complication collection with the Epic SF24 Flying Tourbillon.

Oscillating at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the flying tourbillon is only held on one side without support of an upper bridge, offsetting the effect of gravity on the performance of the watch.

This signature Jacob & Co. caliber, JCAA03 built with 528 components, is dressed with a black dial, and delicately decorated with the names global cities.

The top of the tourbillon is dressed with an abstract architecture of triangles in openwork metal. A symbol of stability, spirituality and determination, this motif, dear to the founder Jacob Arabo, is iconic within the house of Jacob & Co.
